EKO Mini Volleyball league continues to inspire aspiring volleyballers

Podgorica, Montenegro, February 18, 2020. This past Sunday, the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) started the second half of the fifth season of the EKO Mini Volleyball league. The competition is open to some 700 young girls born in 2009/2010 and boys born in 2007, with matches held at the sports hall of the Slobodan Skerovic High School in Podgorica.

The highly successful EKO Mini Volleyball League is part of the CEV School project and it has already had a great impact, helping grow the game in Montenegro and promoting it across the local youngsters – and especially school pupils – in the Balkan country.

For the fifth consecutive season, the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro is delivering such a project for children with the sponsorship of Jugopetrol AD, the EKO gas station and the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the CEV and the Municipality of Podgorica.
