Mini Volleyball league ends with gold medals awarded to all participants

Podgorica, Montenegro, May 14, 2017. The 2016-2017 season of the Jugopetrol EKO Mini Volleyball league organised by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) finished on Saturday, May 13 at Independence Square in Podgorica. With the help of their sponsor, the Jugopetrol Company, the OSCG provided gold medals for all participants, i.e. some 450 young Volleyball players.

The youngest players of Buducnost Capital Plaza, Buducnost Bemax, Moraca, Bar Volley, Mediteran, Ivangrad 2011, Mladost, Gimnazijalac, Mrkojevici, Top Volley, Galeb, Akademija, Niksic and Libero performed on the main square of the Montenegrin capital before receiving much-coveted gold medals. OSCG President, Cvetko Pajkovic, OSCG Board of Administration member, Dragan Drobnjak, national team player Ksenija Ivanovic, 2000 Olympic gold medal winner and Volleyball legend Vladimir Grbic, and the Marketing Manager of the Jugopetrol EKO Company, Mrs Dunja Zekovic Djonaj, were involved in the awarding ceremony.

OSCG Secretary General Ivan Boskovic presented Mrs Zekovic Djonaj with a gold medal for the company’s support in the organisation and delivery of the Mini Volleyball league – a project likely to contribute to the further development of Volleyball in the Balkan country.
