Development project for renovation of Beach Volleyball courts continues in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, November 17, 2017. As they moved to the third implementation stage of the FIVB/CEV development project “Renovation and equipping of Beach Volleyball courts”, the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina recently provided Volleyball equipment to a number of clubs across the Balkan country.

These are:

  • OK “Una” from Bosanska Krupa
  • OK “Maglaj” from Maglaj
  • HŽOK “Široki Brijeg” from Široki Brijeg
  • OK “Smeč” from Novi Grad
  • OK “Vožd” from Prijedor and OK “Prijedor” from that same city.

These clubs received Volleyball posts and pads, a referee stand, Volleyball nets and antennas, court lines, a scoreboard, etc.

Since starting with the implementation of this ambitious project, the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have helped with the renovation and equipment of as many 30 Beach Volleyball courts across the country. The final stage of the project is due to follow in 2018 with the renovation of another nine Beach Volleyball courts, thus providing a further boost to the development of the game.
