Glory for Serbia this time around

Cacak, Serbia, August 25, 2018. Serbia, who hosted two consecutive under age Balkan Championships in a row in Valjevo and Cacak, claimed top honours in the U19 Balkan Championship – Women. Serbian team and Turkey clashed once more in the final match on Saturday in Cacak and this time Serbia was the victorious team. Undefeated Serbia overcame Turkey in straight sets (25-20, 25-17, 25-20) and crowned as the champion of the Balkans. After winning the U18 Balkan Championship – Men, Turkey finished second while Bulgaria gained the bronze medal.

Sara Carić of Serbia was elected as the MVP of the tournament.
