U17 Men’s showdown in Serbia

Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, March 03, 2021. 2021 U17 Balkan Championship – Men got underway on Wednesday in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia with two matches. 4 Balkan countries consisting of Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Turkey, will face each other for three days to become the champion of the Balkans and for a place in the CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship 2021 - Men.

In the opening game of the tournament, Turkey was victorious against Bulgaria after a five set thriller (25-19, 19-25, 25-14, 17-25, 15-9).

Hosts Serbia took to the stage in the second game with Romania. Despite losing the first set, Serbian team managed to overcome Romania 3-1 (17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-15).

After the conclusion of the tournament, the title holder country will book its place in the CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship 2021 - Men Final Round. Other teams will earn the right to participate in the CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship 2021 - Men 2nd Qualification Round.
