Beach Volleyball national champions crowned in Montenegro

The medallists of the event contested at Luštica Bay courts and organised by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro

On Saturday, at the Luštica Bay Courts, the 2025 edition of the Montenegrin Beach Volleyball Championship reached its climax with the crowning of the winners. The event was organised by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro in collaboration with the Luštica Bay team and with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

In the women’s competition, the title was won by Ilmira Abdulina and Natalija Daniljuk, who defeated Ivana Vukčević and Milena Ćetković in a final where they displayed a truly dominant performance (21-16, 21-11). Vukčević and Ćetković had previously beaten Irina Smislova and Julija Kozir in a much harder contested semi-final (20-22, 21-19, 15-12).

In the men’s competition, the winners’ trophy was lifted by Aleksej Daniljuk and Oleg Ivanov. They defeated Aleksa Strahinja and Stefan Radević (21-15, 21-17) in yet another fairly one-sided final match.

The trophies and gold medals for the winners in both categories were awarded by Ivan Bošković, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, while the prizes for the second and third-placed teams were presented by Valentina Krivokapić from the Luštica Bay company.

Third place in the men’s competition went to Vladimir Novović and Nikola Radević, who lost in the semi-finals to the eventual champions (21-10, 21-18), while in the women’s category, the bronze medal went to the already mentioned Smislova/Kozir pair.
