Greek and Romanian Teams Won U22 Balkan Championship in North Macedonia

Venios Konstantinos and Karykas Antonios from Greece in the men’s competition, and Hododi Ioana and Miu Ioana from Romania in the women’s competition, are the winners of the U22 Balkan Beach Championship held in North Macedonia.

In the men’s final, the Greek pair defeated the team from Moldova, Simon Egor Dobcis and Sergiu Plamadeala, with a score of 2:1 (21:13, 17:21, 15:13). The Turkish pair claimed the third place Ahmet Can Tur and Tuna Imadat, who won against Mihai Muresan and Iannia Alb with a score of 2:0 (24:22, 21:17).

In the women’s competition, the team Romania 1 triumphed over the Turkish pair Sayra Ceylin and Simidim Su with a score of 2:0 (21:10, 21:4). Third place was secured by Eleni Alexoglou and Myrto Paschalaki from Greece, who defeated Svetlana Luhonja and Tajša Laković from Bosnia and Herzegovina with a score of 2:0 (21:11, 21:7).
