Romania qualified for #EuroVolleyU18M

The U18 team of Romania directly qualified for the European Championship 2024 via BVA Zonal Qualifiers.

Today is over 1st round of qualification in Strumica, match for 5th place ended with official results for Kosovo against Serbia. Turkiye beat North Macedonia 3:0 (25:20, 25:15, 25:16) in the match for 3rd place. Ismail Ayranci and Ata Unver led the Turkish team to victory with 14 points each. For the host team, Toshe Efremov was the best scorer with 12 points.

In the deciding game for the final round, Romania celebrated after 79 minutes against Greece 3:0 (25:23, 25:21, 26:24). Thirteen points each won George Patic Verdes and Stefan Liviu Catalin in the Romanian team, while for Greece, 18 won Konstantinos Stavros Mouchlias.
