Turkiye and Greece claim gold at U18 Balkan Beach Volleyball Championshi in Romania

The U18 Balkan Beach Volleyball Championship, held in Bucharest, delivered a great spectacle and high-quality matches, with the participation of strong teams from the region. The competition was dominated by representatives from Turkiye and Greece.

In the men’s competition, the title was claimed by the Turkish pair Polat Kemal Eser/Erol, who won the final 2-0 against the Greek team of Tatsis and Tsioupis.
Romania reached the podium through Iustin Egor and Tudor Stere, who won the bronze medal match, also 2-0, against their compatriots Antonio Dancu and Tudor Iuga.

In the women’s competition, Greece took the gold through the team of Charissaki/Fragkioudaki, who prevailed 2-1 in the final against the Turkish pair Dogan/Yildirim.
Romania secured the bronze thanks to the duo Alexia Micula/Maya Bugle, who won in straight sets against their teammates Cătălina Vasilescu and Draga Savu.
