The U19 men’s volleyball teams of Turkiye and Serbia will battle for the gold medal at the Balkan Championship currently taking place in Banja Luka. The final promises high-level volleyball, with both teams having shown exceptional resilience and fighting spirit in the semifinals.
Turkiye edged out Bulgaria in a thrilling match that lasted over two hours, winning 3:2. Serbia also booked its spot in the final after a hard-fought five-set victory over Romania, ending 3:2.
Bulgaria and Romania will compete for the bronze medal, while Montenegro and North Macedonia will play for fifth place. Montenegro secured a convincing 3:0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, while North Macedonia claimed a tough victory against Greece 3:2.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Greece in the match for seventh place.
