The U18 Turkish team qualified to the European Championship after they won a thriller against Bulgaria in the final match.
On the last day of the U18W qualification in Sofia, was played a very exciting match between Türkiye and Bulgaria. Victory celebrated Türkiye 3:2 (11:25, 25:21, 25:18, 18:25, 15:8). Eslem Yilmaz finished as top scorer for the winning team with 17 points. In the Bulgarian team, an excellent match had Viara Parapunova with 24 points.
