U18M: Greece and Serbia celebrated, hosts and Turkiye rested on the first day

From today, the U18M qualifications are also on the program in Strumica, North Macedonia. The national team of Greece celebrated triumph in pool A, while Serbian team celebrated in pool B.

Greece beat Kosovo 3:0 (25:12, 25:12, 25:23) on the first match. Stavros Konstantinos Mouchlias led the Greek team to victory with 14 points.  Among the Kosovo team, top scorer was Erind Qalaj with 6 points.

Serbia achieved victory after an exciting four set against Romania 3:1 (25:20, 21:25, 25:17, 36:34). In Strahinja Kozic’s team, top scorers were Vuk Kulinac and Pavle Novakovic with 14 points, while Aleksandar Bogosavljević won two points less – 12.  In the Romanian team, Ioan Verciuc and Stefan Liviu Catalin won 12 points each.

On the second day of the tournament, Romania plays with Turkiye, while host North Macedonia plays against Kosovo.
