U18M: Serbia and North Macedonia opened competition with victories

Serbia and North Macedonia secured victories on the first day of the competition in Tirana at the U18M Balkan Championship.

In the first match of the day, Serbia defeated Montenegro with a maximum score of 3:0 (25:14, 25:16, 25:12). Vuk Kulpinac, Pavle Colakovic and Marko Stefanovic had good games for Serbia with 13, 12, and 11 points respectively, while Luka Lojić was the top scorer for Montenegro with 10 points.

The host, Albania, was defeated by North Macedonia 3:1(25:20, 23:25, 25:19, 25:23). North Macedonia was led to victory by Toshe Efremov with 20 points, and the best player for Albania was Bjorni Sejdini with 16 points.

On Thursday, Serbia will play with North Macedonia at 15.30h, and Albania will play against Montenegro at 18h.
