U20M: Bulgaria and Turkiye celebrated on the first day of qualifications

The first round of Zonal qualifications for the U20 European Championship, organized by the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA), began today with the match between Montenegro and Bulgaria in Izvorani, Romania.

Bulgaria lost the first set against Montenegro but turned the match in their favor, winning the next three sets for a 3:1 (27:29, 25:12, 25:16, 25:14) victory. In the Bulgarian team, Aleksandar Kandev stood out with 18 points, while Georgi Bachvarov won 15 points. On the other side of the net, Luka Lojic scored the highest -14 points

In the second match of the day, Turkiye celebrated victory against the host Romania 3:0 (25:17, 25:20, 25:18). Turkiye was led to victory by Mert Cuci with 15 points and Dogan Karakoc with 14 points. In the Romanian team, the best was David Emilian Taranu Runcan with 20 points.
