U20M: Bulgaria won thriller against Türkiye, first win for the host

The second day of the 1st Round of Zonal qualifications for the U20 European Championship has concluded, with victories claimed by Bulgaria and Romania.

In the first match of the day, Bulgaria achieved their second win, after they defeated Turkiye after five sets 3:2 (29:31, 25:20, 21:25, 25:18, 15:12) and an exciting game. Outstanding in the Turkish jersey, Dogan Karakoc scored an impressive 22 points, while in the victorious team, Aleksandar Kandev excelled with just one point less.

In the second game, Romania beat Montenegro 3:0 (25:22, 25:19, 25:19) securing a win with the maximum result. David Emilian Taranu Runcan again was the best in the Romanian team with 17  points. For Montenegro, 10 points were won by Lazar Cimbaljević and Vuk Stanojević.
