Volleyball community growing at steady pace in Moldova

While preparing to join this year’s #1DayMore4Volleyball, the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Moldova has further spread the passion for the game with the help of the CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball – Grow with it’.

In early February, they did deliver a workshop for physical education teachers in the eastern part of our country, more specifically in the city of Criuleni. As many as twenty-nine teachers from 24 schools participated in this seminar. Slowly but surely and with each month, the volleyball community of the Balkan country is growing.

Moreover, February coincided with the delivery of as many as 42 matches in the mini volley school league. This competition has driven great interest from schools across the country and the organisers are confident that this will soon become one of the most significant mass participation events held in Moldova.
