The First Round of the Qualifications for the U16 European Championship 2025 in the women’s competition will take place 15-19th January in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In addition to the host team, Bulgaria, the tournament will feature the national teams of Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Romania, and Türkiye.
The first round of qualifications is conducted within zonal associations, with the tournament’s winner securing direct qualification for the U16W European Championship 2025. The remaining five teams will compete in the second round of qualifications, scheduled for 24-27th April. Through the 2nd Round, 11 teams will secure their place in the European Championship: two top-placed teams from each of the five groups and the best third-placed team.
The U16 Women European Championship 2025 (players born in 2010 and later) will be held 02-13th July in Tirana and Pristina, featuring 16 of the best teams from across Europe.
