CS Volei Alba BLAJ concluded their remarkable CEV Volleyball Cup campaign as runners-up after being defeated by Italian champions Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA in the second-leg final 3:0 (30:28, 25:17, 28:26).

Having already lost the first-leg match 1-3, Alba BLAJ needed a strong performance at home to overturn the deficit. Despite their determination, they struggled to match the intensity and consistency of the Italian side. They recorded four aces and seven kill blocks, demonstrating both their powerful serve and strong net presence. On the other hand, Alba BLAJ put up a strong fight, scoring 71 points, with three aces and also seven kill blocks, but ultimately fell short against their opponents.
