The electoral assembly of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on June 26, 2025, at the premises of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The agenda included the election of new leadership for the Federation. The Assembly unanimously elected Anita Glibić from Mostar as the new President of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Milutin Popović from Modriča will serve as the Vice President in the upcoming term.

The following individuals were unanimously elected as members of the Management Board of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

2. Milutin Popović, member
3. Alija Fatić, member
4. Miroslav Lučić, member
5. Darko Kasap, member
6. Željko Tepavčević, member
7. Izudin Hrusto, member
8. Dejan Travar, member
9. Faruk Hadžić, member
10. Asmer Mujanović, alternate member
11. Ivana Nikolić, alternate member

The following individuals were unanimously elected as members of the Supervisory Board of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

1. Mario Jović, president
2. Haris Hasanica, deputy president
3. Višnja Ćalasan, member

The new leadership has received support from the highest institutions of European volleyball and their officials.

Present at Assembly were Ivan Knežević, First Vice President of CEV, Vuk Karanović, Managing Director of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), Đula Mešter, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, Ivan Donald Marić, representing the Volleyball Federation of Croatia, and Velibor Vasović, representative of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I am here to build bridges, not walls. We must bring back the clubs that withdrew due to poor relations and high participation fees, bring volleyball back to the halls, and spectators to the stands. I expect that all of us who have been entrusted at the Assembly of the Volleyball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will move together toward fundamental changes and restore Bosnian volleyball to its rightful place,” stated Glibić after her appointment.

Anita Glibić emphasized that she is fully aware of the current situation and announced that the priorities of her mandate will include the development of a clear financial and development strategy through budget rebalancing, equal opportunities for all clubs, transparent fund management, and a commitment to unity within the Federation at all levels.
