Türkiye, Bulgaria and Serbia achieved victory on first day of U18M Balkan Championship in Novi Sad, Serbia.
In first match of pool A, Türkiye defeated Romania 3:1 (27:25, 25:20, 19:25, 25:12). With 14 points Demir Alp was the best player in the Turkish team, while Luca Martonos was the best in Romanian team with 17 points.
Bulgaria defeated Moldova with 3:0 (25:9, 25:15, 25:11) in second match same day of pool B. Kristian Titrijski and Aleksandar Kandev was the best in Bulgarian team with 8 points. In Moldova Eldar Chilingir had 5 points.
In last match of today’s schedule, hosts Serbia defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina in pool A 3:0 (25:15, 25:16, 25:11). Luka Stankovic was the top scorer with 13 points, in Bosnian team 5 points had Sava Radic and Nikola Djuric.

Klasnic/Kolaric (SRB) won 1st place in the men’s competition of Senior Beach Volleyball Balkan Championship 2022 after they defeated Mermer/Urlu (TUR) 2-1 (21-16,17-21, 16-14) in the final match.
Dobcis/Korsakov (MLD) defeated Ozdemir/Susam (TUR) 2-0 (23-21, 21-15) in the match for the 3rd place and won bronze medal.
In the women’s competition, 1st place won Gokalp/Merve C. from Türkiye after they defeated Ramadani/Sylejmani from Kosovo 2-0 (21-14, 21-17).
In the match for the 3rd place, Bradatan/Miu (ROU) defeated Toy/Aktas (TUR) 2-1 (13-21, 21-14, 15-11).
