The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has entrusted the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro (OSCG) with the organisation of an FIVB Coaches Course Level 3, the highest-level such coaching seminar run by FIVB, which will take place from June 22 to 29 in Podgorica.
After successfully organising an FIVB Coaches Course Level 1 and a subsequent FIVB Coaches Course Level 2 in 2016 and 2018 respectively, the world’s governing volleyball body has once again placed its trust in the OSCG and approved the hosting of the FIVB Coaches Course Level 3 in the capital city of the Balkan country.
The Volleyball Federation of Montenegro is the only federation from Europe to be granted the organisation of such a prestigious course. Globally, only five such courses will be held this year, namely in Montenegro, Nigeria, Ecuador, Jordan, and Algeria.



CEV President Mr. Roko SIKIRIC, CEV First Vice-President Ivan KNEZEVIC, CEV Managing Director Mr. Vuk KARANOVIC, Croatian Volleyball Federation President and MEVZA Sports Director Mr. Frane ZANIC, Croatian Volleyball Federation Director and MEVZA President Mrs. Valentina BIFFLIN attended BVA Assembly as guests while 10 from 11 member federation’s representatives were present.
During the Assembly, important topics have been discussed. Summer indoor and beach volleyball events with age limits have been defined and also updates on financial and competition matters have been decided.
The members of the BVA Assembly unanimously decided to move the BVA office to Belgrade, Serbia.
27th BVA General Assembly will be held in January 2026 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
