U19M: Final for Bulgaria and Serbia

Bulgaria and Serbia will play in the final of U19M Balkan Championship. For 3rd place will fight Turkiye and Romania.

In the semifinals celebrated Bulgaria against Turkiye (18:25, 22:25, 25:19, 25:21, 16:14) and Serbia against Romania (27:25, 25:16, 25:22).

For Bulgaria, the best player was Kristijan Titrijski with 31 points, while in the Turkish team, the best was Karakoc Dogan with 24 points.

Luka Stepanovic was the best in the Serbian team with 19 points and for Romania, Davi Rancu Taranu won 19 points also.

Before the semifinals, Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Kosovo 3:0 (25:5, 27:25, 25:16) and will play against Greece for 7th place. In the Bosnian team, the best was Albino Aghbar with 18 points, for Kosovo Albes Iseni won 9 points.

MATCH SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY, 15TH JULY:

7-8th place: Greece – Bosnia and Herzegovina (13.00h)

5-6th place: Albania – Moldova (15.30h)

3rd place: Turkiye – Romania (18.00h)

Final: Bulgaria – Montenegro (20.30h)

Gold medal for Serbia on U19W Balkan Championship

The winner of the U19W Balkan Championship is Serbia! Second place won Turkiye and 3rd place won Bulgaria.

In the final match, Serbia defeated Turkiye after five sets 3:2 (25:22, 19:25,19:25, 25:22, 15:11). The best player in Serbian team was Milica Vidacic with 14 points, while in the Turkish team was Beren Yesilirmak with 23 points.

Bulgaria defeated Montenegro in the match for bronze medal 3:0 (25:17, 25:22, 25:23). With 15 points Mikaela Stoyanova was the best in the winning team, while for Montenegro 7 points were won Lara Jovovic, Kristina Bozovic and Darja Popovic.

Individual awards:

The MVP of the U19 Women Balkan Championship was Dragana Korolija from Serbia.

The best setter of U19 Women Balkan Championship was Guncheva Margarita from Bulgaria

Jovana Antic from Serbia and Boriyana Angelova from Bulgaria were the best middle blockers of  U19 Women Balkan Championship.

Liza Safranova from Turkiye and Mina Stanojevic from Serbia were the best outside hitters of the U19 Women Balkan Championship.

The best opposite of the U19 Women Balkan Championship was Milica Vidacic from Serbia.

The best libero of the U19 Women Balkan Championship was Ilayda Nazgergef from Turkiye.

U19M: Turkiye, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania in semifinals

The last day of the pool phase of U19M Balkan Championship in Tirana is ended.

In the semifinal of the U19M Balkan championship will play Turkiye against Bulgaria and Serbia against Romania.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Greece will play classification from 7th to 9th place. Bosnia and Herzegovina will play against Kosovo and better from this match will play against Greece for 7th place.

Albania will play against Moldova for 5th place.

On today’s matches, victories were achieved Moldova, Bulgaria and Albania.

Moldova defeated Kosovo 3:0 (25:23, 25:14, 25:22) and won the first win in pool B. For Moldva, the best was Danil Didorciuc with 18 points. In Kosovo team Drilon Latifa and Albes Iseni were the best with 7 points.

In pool C, Bulgaria defeated Greece 3:0 (25:17, 25:20, 25:20). Aleksandar Kandev with 16 points was the best in the winning team, while in the Greek team, Alexandar Nanopoulos was the best with 16 points.

Albania beat Bosna and Herzegovina 3:1 (19:25, 25:21, 25:20, 25:18) in pool A. Klevi Gjinollari won incredible 34 points for the Albanian team, Anil Isic won 15 for Bosnia.

Classification:  Bosnia and Herzegovina – Kosovo (15.30h)

Semifinal (1): Turkiye – Bulgaria (18.00h)
