The pool phase of U17 Women Balkan Championship is completed. In today’s matches celebrated Romania, Montenegro, Bulgaria and Greece.
Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkiye and Greece are placed in the semifinals. In the first semifinal will play Bulgaria against Serbia, Türkiye, while in the second semifinal will play Greece against Serbia. Romania, Montenegro, Moldova and North Macedonia will play classifications for placement from 5th to 8th place.
Romania beat Moldova 3:0 (25:17, 25:16, 25:9) and take 3rd place, while Bulgaria defeated Serbia and take 1st in pool A.
Irina Sara Buricia won 9 points for the Romanian team, and for Moldova, Sofia Cacean won 4 points. In Bulgarian team, the best was Viara Parapunova with 13 points, while in Serbian team the best was Sofija Caric with 9 points.
Montenegro take 3rd place in pool B after they celebrated against North Macedonia 3:1 (25:15, 23:25, 25:17, 25:23). In the winning team Darja Popović was the best with 15 points, 17 points won Ivana Mileva was the best in the Macedonian team.
Greece defeated Serbia, Türkiye after a very exciting game 3:2 (19:25, 23:25, 28:26, 25:18, 15:9) and take first place in pool B. Dimitra Nanou led the Geek team to victory with 26 points, on the other side, Ceylin Kuyan was great with 21 points.

After the second day of competition of the U17 W Balkan championship, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Türkiye celebrated again.
In Pool A, Bulgaria defeated Moldova 3:0 (25:14, 25:19, 25:9), while Serbia celebrated after five sets against Romania 3:2 (25:22, 21:25, 25:21, 17:25, 15:7).
Kalina Veneva was the best in Bulgarian team with 13 points, in Moldova team, Lolita Rasovscia won six points. For Serbian team, Marija Babalj won excellent 20 points, Mina Mihajlovic won 16, while in Romanian team Carla Parl won 15 points.
National teams of Greece and Türkiye achieve a second victory. Greece celebrated against North Macedonia 3:0 (25:12, 25:13, 25:4), and Turkiye beat Montenegro 3:0 (25:20, 25:16, 25:16).
Dimitra Nanou led Greek team to the win with 14 points, for Macedonian team Simona Nakovska won 4 points. Eslem Yilmaz was the best in Turkish team with 15 points, on the other side Darja Popović won 9 points for Montenegro,

U17W: Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Türkiye started competition with victories
The first day of U17 Women Balkan Championship in Vrnjacka Banja is ended. National teams of Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and Türkiye achieved wins.
In the first match of pool A, Bulgaria defeated Romania 3:0 (25:16, 25:22, 25:18). In the winning team were the best Denitsa Angelova with 9 points, Veronika Petrova with 8 and Viara Perapunova with 7 points. In the Romanian team, 5 points were won Irina Sara Buricea and Gabriel Blanca Cucu.
In the same pool, Serbia beat Moldova 3:0 (25:19, 25:18, 25:17). With 17 points Marija Babalj led Serbian team to the first win, 10 won Mina Mihajlovic, on the other side 7 points won Sofiia Cacean.
Greece was better than Montenegro 3:0 (25:22, 25:21, 25:15) in pool B. In the Greek team, the best was Elpida Tikmanidou with 16 points, Andrijana Merdovic and Darja Popovic won 9 points for Montenegro.
In the last match, Türkiye celebrated after wins against North Macedonia (25:17, 25:14, 26:24). Islam Yilmaz was the best in the Turkish team with 14 points, while in the Macedonian team, Ivana Mileva was the best with 11 points.
