Olympiacos PIRAEUS recently added another trophy to their already impressive cabinet by securing the 18th title in the Greek Men’s National Cup. The final, held in Arta, saw Olympiacos triumph over PAOK THESSALONIKI with a convincing 3-1 victory.
The standout player of the Final Four was Canadian star John Gordon Perrin, who delivered a stellar performance. Perrin recorded 26 points with an impressive 62% attacking efficiency, successfully finishing 20 out of 32 attempts. He also contributed three aces and three blocks, thereby more than deservedly earning the MVP award for the tournament.
Arta has proven to be a lucky place for Olympiacos, as they secured their second title of the season in the city of western Greece after previously winning the League Cup in December 2024 as well.
The Piraeus-based club has now completed a domestic treble, having already won the Super Cup, the Greek Cup, and the League Cup. With the national championship still in progress, Olympiacos will be setting their sights on a historic quadruple, aiming to cement their dominance in Greek Volleyball. Moreover, Olympiacos reached this year the quarterfinals of the CEV Champions League Volley – the first time they made it this far in the elite competition in 23 years.
