Turkish men dominate, Romanian women win second straight BVA Balkan Beach Volleyball Championship U22

Absolute dominance of Turkish pairs at the BVA Balkan Beach Volleyball Championship U22 for men and women, who played in the men’s final. Turkey’s 1st team Kurt Sacit/Tur Ahmet Can, defeated their compatriots, Imdat Tuna/Guldali Baris, 2:0 in the final. In the women’s competition, the Romanian pair Ioana Hododi/Ioana Miu is the U22 champion for the second year in a row after beating the Turkish pair Simdim Su/Ocal Doga 2:0 in the final.

The Moldovan pairs also got involved in the distribution of medals, so in the men’s third place match, the two Moldovan pairs fought for the bronze. Sergeu Plamadeala/Alexei Usatov defeated Artur Zuev/Daniil Didorciuc 2:1 in sets and after a great fight. In the women’s competition, the bronze went to the Moldovan pair Daria Usatova/Inessa Staver, who won 2:0 against the second Turkish pair Dogan Bahar/Yildirim Yasemin.
