The future stars of Balkan volleyball are ready to take center stage as the U18 Men Balkan Championship 2026 gets underway in Podgorica, Montenegro, from 25 to 29 June 2026.
Organized under the auspices of the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) and hosted by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, the championship will bring together eight national teams from across the region for five days of high-level competition. The tournament serves as an important test before U18M European Championship in July and also a valuable opportunity for athletes to gain international experience while representing their countries.
Participating teams are: Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Türkiye and host team Montenegro. The teams have been divided into two pools:
Pool A
- Montenegro
- Türkiye
- Romania
- Kosovo
Pool B
- Bulgaria
- Greece
- Serbia
- Moldova
Following the preliminary round, the top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals, with the championship culminating in the medal matches on 29 June.
Podgorica, a city with a growing volleyball tradition and a proven ability to host international events, will welcome some of the most promising young players in the Balkans. The championship is expected to showcase the next generation of volleyball talents who will aim to make their mark on the European and international stage in the years ahead.
