BVA family held meeting in Paris

On the eve of the 46th CEV General Assembly, the meetings of CEV Zonal Associations were held at the Novotel Hotel in Paris. The meeting of the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) was chaired by Milutin Popović, president of the BVA.

During the meeting, several important topics related to the further development of volleyball in the region were discussed, including the competition calendar for the Balkan Championships and organizational matters concerning future BVA activities.

In the opening part of the session, a presentation on applying for FIVB “Volleyball Empowerment” projects was delivered by Hitesh Malhotra, Head of the Volleyball Empowerment Projects Department at the FIVB.

It was also agreed that the General Assembly of the Balkan Volleyball Association will be held on January 24, 2026, in Sarajevo.

Representatives of all member national volleyball federations of the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) took part in the meeting.
