U17M: Bulgaria qualified for #EuroVolley Final Round!

Bulgaria booked ticket for U17 CEV European Championship 2023 Final Round after they reached place in final of 1st Round of Zonal Qualifiers, where they will play against Finland, who earlier won against Serbia in semifinal.

Serbia was defeated by Finland in first semifinal game after five sets 3:2 (25:21, 15:25, 19:25, 25:18, 15:11). In Serbian team Vuk Kulpinac was the best with 14 points, while 25 points won Viktor Viljamaa for Finland.

Bulgaria beat Greece 3:0 (25:15, 25:22, 25:18) in second semifinal. Petyo Ivanov was the best in Bulgarian team with 16 points. Georgios Kouvaras won 19 points in Greek team.

Romania defeated England 3:0 (25:16, 25:13, 25:14) and will play for 5th place. George Patric Verdes won 12 points in the winning team, in England team Nathan Hampshire won 7 points.

U17W: Bulgaria and Turkiye for #EuroVolley Final Round

National teams of Turkiye and Bulgaria will play in the final of 1st round of BVA Zonal Qualifications for the U17 Volleyball European Championship 2023, while Greece and Romania will fight for 3rd place.

Kosovo and Montenegro will play match for 5th place.

In first semifinals celebrated Bulgaria against Greece 3:1 (19:25, 25:18, 25:23, 25:19). Viara Parapunova was the best in the Bulgarian team with 17 points, while Dimitra Nanou was the best in the Greek team with 15 points.

In second semifinals, Turkiye beat Romania  3:0(25:15, 25:18, 25:20) for the final. Eslem Yilmaz was the best wtih 15 points in the winning team. Cristian Alexia Ruci won 10 points for Romania.

Kosovo again was better than Moldova, this time 3:0 (25:13, 28:26, 25:19). Megi Bislimi won 12 points in Kosovo team, Sofia Cacean win 7 points on the other side.

U17M: Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Finland in semifinals

Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Finland (NEWZA) will play in the semifinals of 1st round of BVA Zonal Qualifications for the U17 Volleyball European Championship 2023.

For the semifinals, in pool B celebrated Greece and Serbia and in pool A Bulgaria.

Last day of the pool phase, Greece beat Turkiye 3:1 (30:32, 25:22, 25:18, 25:23). Konstantinos Stavros Mouchlias was the best player with 35 points in celebratory team. İsmail Ayranci was the best in the Turkish team with 16 points.

Serbia was better than England 3:0 (25:23, 25:13, 25:12). Aleksa Skoric won 13 points for Serbia, while Cayde Keates won 6 points for England.

In the last match of Friday, Bulgaria defeated Romania 3:0 (25:15, 25:18, 25:17). Zhasmin Velichkov won 12 points for Bulgarian team. Ioan Verciuc, George Patrick Erdes and Stefan Liviu Catalin for Romania were the best with 8 points.

Romania and England will play tomorrow as 3rd from pool A and 4th placed from pool B and winner will play match for 5th place against Turkiye on Sunday.

U17W: Bulgaria, Greece, Turkiye and Romania in semifinals

The pool phase is completed. Bulgaria against Greece and Turkiye against Romania will play in the semifinals of 1st round of BVA Zonal Qualifications for the U17 Volleyball European Championship 2023.

Kosovo and Moldova will play again tomorrow as 3rd and 4th placed from pool B. Winner will play match for 5th place against Montenegro.

In 3rd round, Bulgaria defeated Romania 3:0 (25:12, 25:21, 25:16) for 1st place in pool B. Denitsa Angelova was the best in Bulgarian team with 15 points, Gabriela Bianca Cucu won seven points for Romania.

Turkiye is first in pool A, after defeating Greece 3:0 (25:17, 25:16, 25:15). Ceyda Kuyan and Eslem Yilmaz won 10 points in Turkish team, Dimitra Nanou was the best in Greek team with nine points.

Kosovo beat Moldova in pool B for 3rd place in the group 3:2 (25:22, 23:25, 25:23, 6:25, 5:15). Megi Bislim was led Kosovo to win with great 36 points! Sofia Cacean won 13 points on the other side.
