Serbia Wins U18M Balkan Championship

The Serbian U 18 volleyball team won the Balkan Championship in Tirana with three victories. Montenegro secured second place with two wins and one loss, while North Macedonia came in third with one triumph.

On the final day of the competition, Montenegro achieved a convincing 3:0 (26:24, 25:17, 25:18) victory over North Macedonia. Luka Lojic scored the most points for Montenegro -17, and Toshe Efremov did the same for North Macedonia with 10 points.

Serbia finished the tournament undefeated, having also celebrated a victory against the host in the last match 3:0 (25:20, 2512, 25:14). In the Serbian team the best was Marko Stefanovic with 11 points, on the other side Marsel Hoxha won 8.

U18M: Maximum victories for Serbia and Montenegro on the second day

On the second day of the competition in Tirana, Serbia secured its second victory, while Montenegro recorded its first.
In the first match, Serbia was once again dominant, securing a 3:0 (25:14, 25:17, 25:19) victory against North Macedonia. The highest scorer was Vuk Kulpinac with 16 points, in the Macedonian team the best was Toshe Efremov with 14.
Montenegro convincingly defeated the host, Albania, with a score of 3:0 (25:21, 25:11, 25:13) for their first win in the tournament. Luka Lojic had an excellent game with 22 points, while on the other side, Bjorni Sejdini scored 8 points.

U18M: Serbia and North Macedonia opened competition with victories

Serbia and North Macedonia secured victories on the first day of the competition in Tirana at the U18M Balkan Championship.

In the first match of the day, Serbia defeated Montenegro with a maximum score of 3:0 (25:14, 25:16, 25:12). Vuk Kulpinac, Pavle Colakovic and Marko Stefanovic had good games for Serbia with 13, 12, and 11 points respectively, while Luka Lojić was the top scorer for Montenegro with 10 points.

The host, Albania, was defeated by North Macedonia 3:1(25:20, 23:25, 25:19, 25:23). North Macedonia was led to victory by Toshe Efremov with 20 points, and the best player for Albania was Bjorni Sejdini with 16 points.

On Thursday, Serbia will play with North Macedonia at 15.30h, and Albania will play against Montenegro at 18h.
