Between July 18–20, 2025, Bucharest was the proud host of the first-ever Zonal Club Championship in the Balkans for beach volleyball. The event took place at the Cultural and Sportiv Student Complex TEI, which proved to be the perfect setting for this dynamic and international tournament. Clubs from Turkiye, Moldova, Bulgaria, and Romania gathered to compete for regional glory and qualification to the next stage of the CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup 2025.

In the men’s competition, six clubs battled it out over three thrilling days filled with long rallies and golden sets. TVF Spor Lisesi from Turkiye emerged victorious, securing first place, followed by DOR from Moldova in second, and CSU Reșița from Romania completing the podium.

The women’s competition featured three competitive clubs. CSM Bucharest claimed the top spot, with CSU ASE taking second place, and TVF Spor Lisesi finishing in third.

All winners have now earned their place in the next stage of the CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup 2025, with the final event to be hosted in Greece later this year.
