The pool stage of the U18W Balkan Championship in Tirana has concluded. In the semifinals, Bulgaria will play against Serbia, and Turkiye will play against Romania. North Macedonia and Montenegro will fight for 5th place, while Albania and Moldova will compete for 7th place.
The results of today’s matches are as follows – In Pool A, Bulgaria celebrated a victory against North Macedonia 3:0 (25:14, 25:14., 25:11), securing the top spot in the pool without losses. In the second match, Romania secured a place in the semifinals by defeating Albania 3:0 (25:15, 25:13, 26:24).
Turkiye recorded its third consecutive win at the top of the table against Montenegro in Pool B, securing a spot in the semifinals along with Serbia, which defeated Moldova 3:0 (25:21, 25:8, 25:13).

The second day of the U18 Women Balkan Championship in Albania has concluded. In Wednesday’s matches, Turkiye and Bulgaria recorded their second consecutive victories, while Montenegro and Romania secured their first triumphs.
Turkiye dominated their second match in pool B against Serbia with a 3:0 (28:28, 25:17, 25:15). Mina Olgar and Ceylin Cuyan scored the most points for Turkiye – 11, while Milana Stanković (11) did so for Serbia.
In the same group, Montenegro easily defeated Moldova 3:0 (25:14, 25:13, 25:11). Lana Rakocevic with 11 points was the best player for Montenegro, while Saliut won 6 for Moldova.
In pool A, Romania won over North Macedonia 3:0 (25:18, 25:17, 25:17). Gabriel Bianca Cucuc scored the most points for the winning team – 13, while Ivana Mileva was the best in the Macedonian team with 7 points.
In the last match of the day, host Albania was defeated by Bulgaria 3:0 (25:5, 25:11, 25:15), who also recorded their second consecutive 3-0 victory, like the Turkish team. In the Bulgarian team, Ivanova won 14 points, on the other side Metanj, Ramo and Sulejmani won 3 each.

The U18W Balkan Championship started today in Tirana, Albania. The first day of the competition was successful for Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkiye, and North Macedonia.
The tournament began with the match Serbia – Montenegro, which ended in favor of Serbia with a score of 3:1 (13:25, 25:19, 25:20, 25:19) in pool B. Milana Stanković led Serbia to victory with 13 points, and Lana Rakocevic scored the most points for the Montenegro team – 12.
Turkiye also recorded a victory against Moldova with a maximum score in the same group 3:0 (25:6, 25:14, 25:5). The best players in the Turkish team were Aylin Uzsclan and Evsen Kubra with 9 points, while in team Moldova Xenia Saliuta won 4.
Today, Bulgaria and North Macedonia also celebrated victories in pool A. The Bulgarians were better than Romania with a score of 3:0 (25:16, 26:24, 25:15), and North Macedonia triumphed over Albania 3:1 (25:23, 25:20, 24:26, 25:16).
Denitsa Angelova was the best player in the Bulgarian team with 16 points, for Romania Cucu Bianca Gabriel won 12.
For the Macedonian team the best scorer was Ivana Mileva with 19 points, on the other side Irisa Metanj was the best with 20 points.
