U18W: Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkiye and Kosovo in semifinals

National teams of Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkiye and Kosovo will play in the semifinals of the U18 Women 1st Round of Qualification for the European Championship.

In pool B, Bulgaria defeated Kosovo 3:0 (25:15, 25:10, 25:19) and placed in the semifinals. The best scorer in Bulgarian team was Veronika Petrova with 9 points, in Kosovo team it was Blerdina Voci with 7 points.

Turkiye beat Serbia 3:0 (25:18, 25:18, 25:18) on today’s program. Ceyda and Celin Kuyan were the best in the winning team with 12 points, for Serbian team the best was Mina Mihajlovic with 8 points.

Turkiye and Serbia also placed in the semifinals of the tournament, Turkish team with two wins, Serbian with one victory against North Macedonia in pool A.

In the semifinals will play Bulgaria against Serbia and Turkiye against Kosovo.

U18M: Greece and Serbia celebrated, hosts and Turkiye rested on the first day

From today, the U18M qualifications are also on the program in Strumica, North Macedonia. The national team of Greece celebrated triumph in pool A, while Serbian team celebrated in pool B.

Greece beat Kosovo 3:0 (25:12, 25:12, 25:23) on the first match. Stavros Konstantinos Mouchlias led the Greek team to victory with 14 points.  Among the Kosovo team, top scorer was Erind Qalaj with 6 points.

Serbia achieved victory after an exciting four set against Romania 3:1 (25:20, 21:25, 25:17, 36:34). In Strahinja Kozic’s team, top scorers were Vuk Kulinac and Pavle Novakovic with 14 points, while Aleksandar Bogosavljević won two points less – 12.  In the Romanian team, Ioan Verciuc and Stefan Liviu Catalin won 12 points each.

On the second day of the tournament, Romania plays with Turkiye, while host North Macedonia plays against Kosovo.

U18W: Serbia registered a triumph, another defeat for North Macedonia

On the second competition day of U18W qualification in Sofia, national team of Serbia achieved a win.

Successful day had Serbia after they defeat North Macedonia on todays schedule. Serbian team celebrated with results 3:0 (25:13, 25:13, 25:16). Three Serbian players had an excellent game, they were Mina Mihajlovic with 15 points, Mia Ciric with 14 and Masa Reljic with 13 points. On the other side, three players won three points, Ivana Mileva, Vitorja Trajkova and Androtea Milevska.

U18W: Turkiye celebrated at the opening

First Round of U18W Qualification started today in Sofia, Bulgaria. On the today schedule was one game between Turkiye and North Macedonia.

On the first match of U18W qualification organized by BVA, Turkiye beat North Macedonia 3:0 (25:14, 25:15, 25:15). Top scorer in the Turkish team was Eslem Yilmaz with 8 points, seven won Begun Kacmaz, Melis Basaran and Ceyda Kuyan. For Macedonian team 4 points won Ivana Mileva.
