After an exciting pool stage, the semifinal matchups of the U19 Men’s Balkan Championship are now confirmed. Turkiye will face Bulgaria, while the second semifinal will feature Serbia against Romania.
North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Greece will compete for 5th to 8th place. Bosnia and Herzegovina will play against Montenegro at 13h, while Greece will take on North Macedonia at 15.30h.
In the final round of the group stage, Montenegro, Turkiye, Bulgaria, and Romania all secured wins.
Montenegro was dominant against Greece (3:0), but missed out on the semifinals due to Bulgaria’s 3:1 victory over Serbia in Pool B. In Pool A, Turkiye confirmed first place with three wins, including a 3:0 victory over North Macedonia. Romania secured second place in the group with two wins, finishing the stage with a 3:0 win over the host team, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
